2 out of 5 stars WOMEN'S ACTIVE BOY SHORT BOTTOMS=NOT TOTALLY SATISFIED.   June 6, 2010
Caroline McMASTER (Florida)
The shorts were purchased so that I could wear them under my cycling shorts. I was wearing regular Jockey cottom underwear, and found that it was almost impossible to pull my shorts (with the cotton underwear) back up after making a quick stop. These shorts work beautifully for that reason; however, they don't cover my backside as they should. Normally, I wear an 8 in GAP jeans, and so I ordered a large knowing that they are skin tight and tend to run small. Well they fit fine in the front, but not so much in the back. I have to really pull them up in order for them to cover me, and then I pull my cycling shorts up over them. They tend to stay pretty much in place, are very comfortable, and let my skin breath well. But, I am disappointed that they NEED to be pulled up and over my bottom. I will not be buying these shorts in the future, because they should fit like regular boy shorts.

4 out of 5 stars Not perfect, but good enough   July 1, 2008

Obviously designed by a man, these women's boy-shorts just don't live up to the men's version.

The legs are of equal length in the front and back so, whereas there is a little length of leg in the front, the undies barely make it over my butt in back, leaving no leg length at all (I'm a curvy size 4 and bought the small). Additionally, the leg in the front bunches up.

Apart from that, they are extremely comfortable and do not "ride" up in back even during rigorous exercise.

I mainly purchased these for travel, as the fabric dries rather quickly making them ideal for light packing and washing on the go. For that, they serve their purpose.

3 out of 5 stars Overpriced regular boyshorts   May 9, 2008

Under Armour is an amazing brand; however these were a big disappointment.
The fabric is smooth, very comfortable , nice band width on the top of the boyshorts, breathable and they hold their original shape after washing very well.

The only down side is the ribbing around the bottom of the short's seemed to bunch/ride up during light to high impact exercise (during yoga and while running).

They are great if you don't plan on working out in these. At 20.00 each, their are plenty of other solid brands that sell boyshorts like these for half the price.

1 out of 5 stars disappointed   February 6, 2008

If you are comfortable with shorts that sit at your hips then you would be fine with these. I find that the UA compression shorts work better. I bought these for running and as I ran they kept falling down. I was constantly pulling them up for a couple miles until I started to sweat a little and I guess the moisture finally held them up. Don't buy these.

5 out of 5 stars Feels like skin.   August 9, 2007

I never thought I would switch from thongs to boyshorts, but the reason I wore thongs was to feel as if I were wearing nothing. But the Under Armour boyshorts, are even better! They fit just like skin and show no panty lines -- no little bumps or anything. I bought every pair in my size at the local sports shops, and now I can get them on Amazon without going to the mall!
